Aanmelden en communicatie
Traffic guidance starts from Maasaanloop, approximately 35 miles outside the mouth of the port of Rotterdam. Always listen to the VHF channel of the sector you are in. Make sure all communications are short and concise. Always report deviations from the normal navigation procedure and/or defects in the ship's equipment.
Register at Port of Moerdijk
- Seagoing vessels via Rotterdam and Antwerp must register via Portbase's Port Community System.
- All inland vessels must register with the Port Authority of Port of Moerdijk. A berth can only be taken after permission has been obtained.
