The tasks of the port authority
The Port of Moerdijk authority organises the process of development, design, construction, issuance, operation, management and expansion of Port of Moerdijk. As a company we like to share knowledge and experience with third parties.
Port of Moerdijk is a management organisation. We outsource the implementation to high-quality suppliers. We easily deploy additional capacity and expertise where necessary. This allows our compact team to respond quickly and flexibly to opportunities and developments. This way we can provide our customers and relations with optimal service.
The people of the Port of Moerdijk authority
We are a team of approximately 35 highly motivated people, who together direct the management, operation and further developments of the port and industrial estate.
The employees of the Port of Moerdijk authority share a pride and passion for the port, industry and logistics. The desire to connect Port of Moerdijk customers with each other and with Europe is what drives us. And this from an optimal balance between 'profit, people & planet'.
Board and Management Team
The Port of Moerdijk authority is managed by two people in the statutory management: Marika Menschaar-den Hartog (CFO) and Paul Dirix (CEO).
Together with four program managers and the general counsel, they form the Port Authority's Management Team.
The four programs are:

- Area Development, Environment and Sustainability
- Harbour Master and Security
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board provides advice and supervises the policy and general affairs of the Port of Moerdijk authority. The members of the Supervisory Board are appointed for a period of 4 years by the General Meeting of Shareholders, in which the province of North Brabant and the municipality of Moerdijk are represented.
The Supervisory Board consists of
