Registration for handing in of ship’s waste

Registration is via the Rotterdam Port Authority. This service must be notified at least 24 hours before waste is handed in at a reception facility.
The registration must contain at least a description of the type of waste, amount, date, berth from which waste is handed in and the collection firm.

Tariffs for ship’s waste
Vessels arriving at the port must hand in their ship’s waste unless they have sufficient storage capacity at their disposal to hand in the waste at the following port of call.

The tariffs are calculated on the basis of the engine capacity and are charged over and above the harbour dues. The portion of the costs not covered by this allowance shall be paid directly to the reception facility.
Vessels which maintain regular services can possibly be excepted from these allowances.
